August is here, robes and ticket-stubs trailing behind it as it stumbles out of the taxi and up the driveway to your door.
Today’s word cloud is from Briar Wood’s Rāwahi. This is a gloriously Kiwi word cloud, isn’t it? The Maori words of course anchor it here, but so do the references to other places – New Zealanders, even more than Aussies, seem to be inveterate travellers. And travellers who bring a bit of the rest of the world home with them. (In my husband’s case, that would be me.)
