A heads-up for those of you who are looking forlornly at the long winter stretching ahead with no poetry classes – I bring good news! Auckland poet, Johanna Emeney, is going to run a weekend workshop in Lincoln on the last weekend in July.
Hooray! At last, a class I can attend!
It should be great fun, and is intended to cater to all levels. We’ll be writing, reading, discussing, and doing some supervised workshopping/editing as well. Five hours across two days, for the bargain-basement price of $20. (Selwyn Creative Communities has come to the party with funding, for which we are much obliged.)
It’s going to be advertised fairly widely, so I would suggest those who want to attend get in touch asap. (That limit of 24 people can fill up surprisingly quickly.)
